Students will submit their answer by signing into Eagle Link via their FGCU email and password and RSVPing YES to the event. Prevention & Wellness at Florida Gulf Coast University will be using funds from student health fees to award the $10 to the winner’s Eagle account. As a result, faculty and staff are ineligible to participate due to funding limitations. The winner will be chosen on the 1st of the following month between 8am-5pm via wheelofnames.com if they answered the question correctly, unless it falls on a weekend/holiday to which the following business day they will be chosen. All participants will be notified of the winner via their student email in addition to the correct answer. - Tue 271:30 PMHurricane Training 2025FGCU-designated essential personnel have a vital role in the response and recovery of an incident on campus, especially a hurricane. FGCU Emergency Management has created three training sessions to educate and prepare essential personnel for their role and responsibilities before, during, and after a hurricane. Essential personnel will gain awareness of how to prepare themselves professionally and personally. They will also learn about the elements of the FGCU incident management framework and how we work together to restore our community after a hurricane. The target audience is essential personnel. These sessions are intended to replace the mandatory Essential Personnel Workday training. All sessions are in person. RSVP is required for all sessions. You only need to attend ONE kick-off session.
