Want to learn how to crochet? Need a crafty group of friends? Yarn club is where it's at! Our monthly general body meeting is focused on unwinding over our favorite yarn-related crafts (knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, ect.) and building a community meant for crafters of all levels. People with little to no experience are highly encouraged to come! Yarn and hooks will be available alongside experienced crocheters to teach others. 

Heels Hip Hop takes your favorite cardio dance class to the next level! Feel empowered and confident dancing in your favorite high heels – though heels are totally optional. Pre-registration is required on the RecStore website 24 hours before the class start time.

Global Medical Brigades (GMB) is one of the nine branches of the international student-led nonprofit organization Global Brigades. GMB volunteers have the opportunity to shadow licensed doctors in medical consultation, assist in a pharmacy under the direction of licensed pharmacists, and support general dentists through chairside assistance. This will be a general body meeting to discuss more information about the club and future events.

This informative general body meeting is hosted by Planned Parenthood Generation Action. We will discuss laws nation and statewide regarding Planned parenthood and reproductive rights. In addition, members have the opportunity to receive service learning credit through our service learning activity during the meeting of calling congress members to urge them to day no to H.R. 271, otherwise known as, Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2025. We will provide candy and an inclusive/safe environment.

FGCU Storytelling - Performance Artist Event Reception with light appetizers at 5:30pm Kuniko Yamamoto combines the ancient art of origami (paper folding) with the art of storytelling to create theatrical wonders that will astound the mind and heart. A native of Japan, Kuniko Yamamoto received her Bachelor of Psychology from Otani University of Kyoto, Japan in 1983. She started performing professionally in her hometown of Osaka where she grew up studying traditional dance, music and theater. She now lives in Sarasota, Florida, where she is a performer and teaching artist of origami and storytelling.

Come join the Primatology Club for an evening to learn how viruses affect primates and why this matters for conservation and people. We will discuss diseases in both wild and captive populations, their connections to human health, and the role of virology in primate research. Snacks and refreshments provided.
