The team meets in Estero and carpools with staff to the home to spend an afternoon with the youth playing games, creating fun crafts, teaching life-skills, teaching personal success skills, leading devotionals and worship, and sharing a meal with the them. All volunteers must undergo a background check and training with our staff via Zoom. Gas for travel and lunch is provided by Advance the Faith for our volunteers. Advance the Faith believes that every person has value & purpose in Christ, we mentor young adults and partner with children's homes to support the physical, emotional, & spiritual needs of vulnerable children giving them a hope for their future & ours.
