At this table, students will engage with Peer Health Educators to better understand what our department offers, current events, and ongoing initiatives.

Wellness Wednesday: Fun with Beer Goggles
Whoa! Too much to drink tonight? Be careful! When we consume too much alcohol in a short amount of time, it can negatively impact our coordination and our ability to complete routine tasks that usually seem easy. At Fun with Beer Goggles, students will have the opportunity to complete seemingly simple tasks while wearing “Drunk Goggles” that mimic the vision while under the influence and test how well they are able to complete these activities.

Credit cards and debit cards look almost identical on the outside. But there are some key differences between these two pieces of plastic. Depending on the situation, it may be better to use a credit card versus a debit card. No matter which card is used, it’s always a good idea to make sure they are used responsibly. At this table, we will break down credit card facts using trivia questions and sort out the differences between credit and debit cards to help students edit their credit!

Puff Pieces: Nicotine's Hazy Truths
Many people believe e-cigarettes are a safe alternative to smoking and other nicotine products. Is that true? Join us for an unclouded discussion! At this table, students will learn about what nicotine products contain and some of the health effects of using nicotine products. We will also share some resources that can help support students seeking to reduce their nicotine use and tips to increase safety for students that choose to use nicotine products.
