The mission of the IPE Disaster Day Event is to foster preparedness through immersive, interprofessional education that emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and real-world application with Marieb College Health and Human Service Students in conjunction of Community Partners. By uniting diverse healthcare disciplines, we aim to build awareness, strengthen communication skills, and enhance readiness to respond effectively to emergencies. Through experiential learning and the use of tools like the ICCAS, we strive to cultivate resilient, knowledgeable professionals dedicated to improving outcomes during crises.
