Get into the spooky spirit with Group Fitness at the University Recreation and Wellness Center! Join us for a full day of Halloween-Themed classes. Take a class and enjoy trick-or-treating fun – participants will receive a festive goodie bag as a sweet reward! The official schedule will be released closer to the start date, but we hope to see you there! Sign-ups for classes will open 24 hours in advance and be available on the RecStore.

In Emerging Eagles Mentor Training 4, students will engage in meaningful conversations and activities to identify facilitation skills to engage mentees in group discussions and activities, for both large and small groups. They will also be able to identify communication skills, tips, techniques, and strategies to feel confident in their presentation and speaking abilities in front of large groups and in small group discussions. Students will be introduced to the content they will be facilitating during EE Sessions to review together.

In Emerging Eagles Mentor Training 5, students will have the opportunity to practice facilitating the content they will be leading during EE Sessions. It will be a run through of all the content for the students to apply the facilitation and communication skills they identified last week. Students are invited to ask any clarifying questions they may have. By the end of mentor training, students will feel confident, prepared, and excited to lead their group discussions and activities for the Emerging Eagles Program.

Join us for strawberry and sunflower season at Farmer Mike's for some fruit and flower picking! The $15 price includes transportation and the activity. The excursion will begin at the Waterfront building for transportation at 8:00am. If you would like to participate, you must register via RecStore or the Fusion Go app. Email jdecastro@fgcu.edu if you have questions.

FGCU Storytelling - Performance Artist Event Reception with light appetizers at 5:30pm Tamiami Tale Tellers, the local storytelling guild, will be replacing Kim Weitkamp due to unforeseen events. The lineup of Mary Lou Williams, Lynn Jaffe, and Joel Ying, have a haunting lineup of stories to thrill you with. Be prepared to be scared.
