 - Nov 54:30 PM*ON-CAMPUS OPPORTUNITY* Taco 'Bout Needing Volunteers: Calling all Culinary Enthusiasts!Join us for our second My Autism Connection Cooking Workshop #2: Taco 'Bout Community! Wednesday, November 5th, Participants will be learning culinary skills in a commercial kitchen environment preparing fillings for tacos. When all the fillings are prepared, we will serve the tacos family-style for everyone to enjoy. We are looking for volunteers to assist with: Setting up ingredients and supplies before the workshop Guiding participants through simple kitchen tasks (chopping, mixing, assembling) Supporting safe use of equipment in the commercial kitchen Helping with cleanup after the session No professional cooking experience required. Just a willingness to be hands-on, patient, and encouraging! Volunteers will play an important role in making this workshop a fun and supportive experience for participants.  - Nov 72:30 PMFGCU Sailing Club Waterfront MeetingHey, FGCU sailors! The sailing club is having a meeting at the North Lake Waterfront on Friday, November 7th, from 2:30-4:30 pm! Come by if you want to meet fellow sailors, learn how to sail, paddleboard/kayak on the Waterfront beach, or just hang out by the boardwalk. We can't wait to see you there! No sailing experience required. !!! Before sailing, please make sure you sign in on EagleLink, Join the sailing club, sign the Participation Waiver (under 'Forms' on the 'Sport Clubs' EagleLink page), and complete the mandatory concussion test (sent to your email after your Participation Waiver is approved). Please do so 2 days in advance, Thank you :) You don't have to stay the entire time; it's a casual meeting. The North Lake Waterfront is open from 12-5 pm. As of right now, two sailboats are for the club's use during our sessions. Students are welcome to use the Waterfront facilities as students. The Sailing Club must adhere to the University Recreation and Wellness staff instructions related to facility closures and inclement weather.

Making time for self-care can feel impossible when juggling classes, work, a social life, and everything else life throws at us! Practicing regular self-care is integral to building resilience to cope with life’s challenges and keeps our body in its best shape. In this workshop, we will take a brief look at the neurobiology behind self-care and the chemicals that make us feel and function at our best. We will also create real self-help tools to help you to feed your brain all its favorite chemicals! Order up!
