The FGCU Dance Team (The E'Gals) was established in 2007. The team consists of 16-22 dancers ranging from freshman to senior class. The team's main focus is to support and provide energetic performances for the FGCU division 1 Athletic Teams and Sport Clubs. Along with practices and games, the FGCU Dance Team will be found participating in community service events all over southwest Florida. This year the team is excited to be competing at DTU Nationals again. In the 2024-2025 season, the Dance Team placed 3rd in the Division 1 Jazz Category at DTU Nationals. This past season the Dance Team made history by also competing in the Division 1 Pom Category for the first time and placed 6th in the nation at DTU Nationals!
