Volunteers are needed to assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of Meet the Firms, hosted by the Department of Accounting in the Lutgert College of Business. Volunteer Roles Include: Event Setup: Assist with arranging tables, laying tablecloths, and preparing the check-in station (11am-1pm) Check-In Support: Greet students, mark attendance, and distribute nametags (1pm-4:30pm) Event Breakdown: Help remove decorations, fold tablecloths, break down tables, and clean up the space (4:30pm-5:30pm) Date: Monday, September 29, 2025Location: FGCU Cohen Student Union BallroomShifts Available: Morning, Afternoon, and Post-Event After you RSVP, you'll be able to indicate which task(s) and time frame(s) you're available to assist with.
- Nov 11:00 PMVolunteers Needed for Premier Mobile Health ServicesPremier Mobile Health Services' nonprofit mission is to provide access to the highest quality healthcare services to the medically vulnerable and those who are most at risk of developing and experiencing long-term illnesses and hospitalization. Premier Mobile is dedicated to prevention through outreach and education, as well as opening access to the health services everyone deserves. We will need students to help us create a "Roaring 20s" style Casino for our fundraiser. They will help us with set-up, decorating, greeting guests, Silent Auction, Donor spotting and tear- down. Volunteers are needed from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The actual hours will depend on the tasks they are assigned: - Set-up from 1pm to 5pm - Greet guests, promote silent auction, sell raffle tickets, auction spotters from 5 pm to 9 pm - Event breakdown 9 pm to 10 pm. Students can dress in 1920s costume if they like. Refreshments will be provided. - Oct 189:00 AMVolunteers Needed for the Frightfully Fun Fest with Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Myers (UUCFM)Students will be assigned to a team (based on their skills/interests) - it might be helping supervise parking, staffing a game, face-painting, pumpkin decorating, Marching in the costume parade or helping with food and crowd management. This event is targeted to children under the age of 10 so experience working with children would be preferable. We are also hoping to sponsor 10-20 foster families at this event to highlight the importance of, and need for, foster families. Costumes will be encouraged for all volunteers working directly with the children.
