The purpose of this table is to have students embrace the aspects about themselves that make them beautiful! They will have the chance to reflect on personal attributes, both physical and non-image related, that make them unique. At this table, students will also have the chance to learn how they can further take steps to improve their body image and appreciate all their body does for them.

- Nov 1–9RecVentures: SCUBA CertificationBecome SCUBA certified through RecVentures! Must attend all classroom sessions, pool sessions, and check out dives in order to obtain certification. RecVentures does not offer make-up dates for missed classes, so any absence is the participant’s responsibility to coordinate make-up time with Dean’s Dive Center. Must be available November 1-2 AND November 8-9 or will need to schedule make up sessions. The certification cost is $350. - Nov 65:00 PMVeteran's Day Murph WorkoutThis event is to honor veterans in the FGCU community. The Murph is a workout to honor Lt. Michael Murphy, who gave his life in the Afghanistan war for his comrades. The workout includes a 1-mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, and 300 squats, followed by another 1-mile run. Additionally, there is a half version and regressions available for any ability level interested in participating. It is not how we do the workout but why we do it. Walk ups are welcome or you can reserve your spot on the Rec Store starting on 10/30.
