We’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals with excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. Ideal candidates are confident, self-driven, reliable, and punctual—and excited to make a difference on campus. As a Career Outreach Assistant, you’ll serve as a representative of the FGCU Career Development Services office, sharing valuable information with students about our services, events, and opportunities. You'll engage with students at special events, campus tabling, and other outreach activities, helping connect them with the resources they need to succeed. This volunteer opportunity runs from September through November, with a weekly commitment of 2-4 hours required. Additional hours are available through support roles at our major career events. You’ll also have the chance to gain hands-on experience with administrative tasks in our office. Tabling times are from 11am -1pm. Administrative tasks can be scheduled based on availability. - Aug 21–22Volunteers Needed for FGCU Daveler & Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship Beach PartyThe FGCU Daveler & Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship is looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to help make our upcoming event a success! From decorating and setting up to running fun activities like the Cornhole and Ping Pong Tournaments, Photography Booth, and the hilarious Granny Pants Competition — we need your energy and creativity. Volunteers will also help with food service, trash takeout, and general cleanup. It’s a great way to get involved, meet new people, and earn service hours. Join the fun and be part of the action! The event takes place on Thursday, August 21 (4:00pm - 7:30pm) and Friday, August 22 (4:00pm -7:30pm). - Aug 8–9Volunteers Needed for Dream 2 Lead's SWFL Adventurology Summer CampDream 2 Lead is hosting our Adventurology: Sports, S.T.E.A.M. & Arts Summer Camp on August 8th & 9th, 2025 in Fort Myers, Florida. We are seeking service-learning students from FGCU to assist with: - Camp station setup and takedown - Group supervision and youth engagement - Supporting equestrian, football, S.T.E.A.M., and arts activities - Managing hydration/snack distribution - Registration check-in - Event logistics and volunteer coordination - Media assistance (photography/video for marketing and documentation) This hands-on community engagement experience will expose students to leadership, youth mentorship, and event coordination while fulfilling required service-learning hours. This event takes place on the following days: - Friday, August 8, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM - Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Note: Staff and volunteers are expected to arrive 1.5 hours early each day and may stay up to 30 minutes afterward for breakdown. We welcome both full-day volunteers and half-day shift volunteers. Shifts will be arranged based on availability and need. Volunteers should indicate their availability in the form linked below.
