Part of our mission statement is collaborating with our students as well as our community. We want to complete a fundraiser and donate the proceeds to a local organization so students can become aware of how to protect the environment and the animals in it, specifically turtles. We want to teach the students the effect the environment has on the turtle population and how to protect them. The objective is to teach the students about being an activist for a cause while integrating in science and the environment. 

Flexible assignment and hours (Monday through Friday). Some of the initial meetings can be on Zoom.
