How should we think about the environment? Does it exist purely to serve humans, or does it have value in itself? And what is our obligation to the environment? Ought we protect it, or merely strive to harm it as little as possible? If you are interested in discussing questions such as these, please join us!

Join the Social Work Student Association at our monthly meeting! November is hunger/homelessness and hospice/family caregiver awareness month. We will be discussing these topics as well as hearing from some BSW Seniors who are currently interning in these fields! 

Managing your stress is a difficult challenge in college, and it is even harder to do during exam time. Each student is different and may utilize different activities to help them relax. Coloring is a method of mindfulness and can be used as a relaxation tool during those times. Students will have a chance to color to take a mental break from their tests and assignments as well as participate in other mindful practices that they can take home and use.

The Global Engagement Office invites you to experience the world at FGCU through food, cultural performances, and guest speakers. This event is free and open to all! Doors open at 5 p.m. and program starts at 5:30 p.m.

With the end of the semester approaching, this event will be a way for any music therapy majors to relax and unwind. The Music Therapy Association will also be hosting its annual elections, in which any music therapy major will be eligible to vote for the incoming board. The event will also have music and relaxation yoga, free food, and a senior slideshow for those who will be moving on to their internships. 

This is our first large group meeting (dinner and devotion) of the semester.
