- Aug 169:30 AMVolunteers Needed for Naples Pier Cleanup with The Healthy Earth OrganizationEvent: Naples Pier Cleanup Date: August 16, 2025 Time: 9:30 am - 11 am Location: Naples Pier (25 12th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102) What To Bring: Reuseable water bottle and wear comfortable clothes. We suggest a hat and sunglasses. What We Provide: All tools needed, sunblock, water refill jug, light snacks, and designated team members who take pictures and ensure safety. Safety Guidelines: Drink plenty of water and take breaks as needed. Set a timer to come back at a set time. Watch out for sharp objects, glass, and wildlife. Avoid heavy lifting and work with a buddy at all times. Do not touch hazardous materials such as needles or chemicals. Report heavy items to our designated team member. Post Cleanup: Weigh your buckets and join the group photo at 10:45 am. Why Help: Beach cleanups are a last line of defense to prevent debris from causing harm to our oceans, to wildlife, to our coastal economies, and even beach-goers. - Sep 49:30 AMVolunteers Needed for Veggie Village Community Garden Maintenance Day with The Healthy Earth OrganizationEvent: Veggie Village Community Garden Maintenance Day Date & Time: September 4th, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM Location: Veggie Village Community Garden – North Naples, FL (7070 Immokalee Rd, Naples, FL 34119) Our community garden is in need of some TLC, and we’ll be planting and weeding to help it thrive. Be prepared to get your hands dirty! Please wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. We’ll provide all the necessary tools, plus snacks and water—just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Directions: Veggie Village Community Garden is located inside Saint Monica’s Episcopal Church grounds. Once you enter the parking lot, take an immediate left and continue to the end until you see the garden. Please plan to stay the entire time (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM). We can’t wait to see you there!
