Join your peers for a guided tour through Entangled in the Mangroves: Florida Everglades through Installation at Artis—Naples. Oscar Maradiaga of The Water School will guide you through the exhibits sharing the ecological science behind the artwork.     Entangled in the Mangroves: Florida Everglades Through Installation features nine talented and passionate artists of south Florida whose work explores various aspects of the unique and diverse Everglades ecosystem. One of the world’s most extensive wetlands, the Everglades currently faces critical threats from the impacts of our changing climate. This exhibition intends to raise awareness about the unique ecosystem’s importance and the urgent need for its protection.    Optional transportation provided by The Water School. With dramatic storm footage, powerful stories of resilience, and insights from scientists, first responders, and community leaders, "Rising" is a wake-up call to the new reality of storm surge.   The film reveals the science behind the destruction and the persistent threat of storm surge from the coast to the heart of the state.
