I’ll take Mental Health Myths for 200, Alex! Yep, it’s Jeopardy with a mindful twist. In this program, you will learn about mental health myths, resources, and how to improve your mental health. We also cover important topics including anxiety and depression, which affect many college students. Participants will also learn how they can help others that may be struggling. Learn more about this important topic while having a good time with your friends!

We tend to focus on parts of our body that we dislike, physical features we would alter, and often compare ourselves to others. How did our perception of ourselves become so distorted? What would it be like if we embraced who we are? It’s time to learn how to love and accept the person we are. This presentation is designed to give you the facts about body image, help you recognize your self-perception, and empower you to celebrate your body!

At the resume workshop, students will be encouraged to create or refine their resume with input from local professionals. Students will have the opportunity to receive a one-on-one review of their resume from accounting professionals. All majors are welcome to this time to network with peers and professionals, while learning how to present themselves to the workforce. Free food provided.

At the Interview workshop, students will have the opportunity to develop and refine their communication skills to for a professional interview. Students will work with local professionals one-on-one to gain an understanding of what organizations look for in an interview setting All majors are welcome to this time of networking with peers and professionals, as students learn how to present themselves to the workforce through their interview. Consent is a vital part of our relationships because everyone has a right to choose what is right for them. Aisha Lewis presents on the definition of consent and what it entails and provides an overview of her role as the Victim Advocate.
