Whether you're a student, volunteer, eco-advocate, or simply inspired to share your thoughts—we want to hear from you! ✍️ What You Need to Know: * Submission Dates: October 6– Friday, October 10, 2025 * Blog Length: 300–800 words * Topics Can Include: ✅ Environmental justice ✅ Sustainable living ✅ Youth activism ✅ Food security ✅ Ocean conservation ✅ Nature-based learning ✅ Your personal eco story * All blog submissions will be published on our website to help raise awareness and celebrate diverse perspectives in the sustainability movement. 💡 Why Participate? * Share your unique voice * Raise awareness on critical issues * Inspire others through storytelling * Be part of a growing network of changemakers 🌱 📩 How to Submit: After registering, you’ll receive an email with where to send your completed blog, starting the Monday of that week. Event: Harvest Oasis Community Garden Maintenance Day Date & Time: 10/9/2025 9:30 AM - Noon Join us for at Harvest Oasis Community Garden Maintenance Day as we plant and care for the garden located in Estero, FL. Our community garden is in need of some TLC, and we’ll be planting and weeding to help it thrive. Be prepared to get your hands dirty! Please wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. We’ll provide all the necessary tools, plus snacks and water—just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Directions: Harvest Oasis Community Garden is located at the outdoor pavilion at Lee Health - Healthy Life Center Coconut Point. Once you enter the parking lot, take an immediate right and continue to the end until you see the 4 vertical hydroponic garden. To sign up for this opportunity, please CLICK HERE! Bunche Beach Cleanup

Event: Bunche Beach Cleanup Date: October 11, 2025 Time: 9:00 am - 10:45 am We provide Free Parking thanks to Lee County Parks and Rec. What To Bring: Re-useable water bottle and wear comfortable clothes. We suggest a hat and sunglasses. What We Provide: All tools needed, sunblock, water refill jug, light snacks, and designated team members who take pictures and ensure safety. Safety Guidelines: Drink plenty of water and take breaks as needed. Set a timer to come back at set time. Watch out for sharp objects, glass, and wildlife. Avoid heavy lifting and work with a buddy at all times. Do not touch hazardous materials such as needles or chemicals. Report heavy items to our designated team member. Post Cleanup: Weigh your buckets and join the group photo at 10:45 am. Why Help: Beach cleanups are a last line of defense to prevent debris from causing harm to our oceans, to wildlife, to our coastal economies, and even beach-goers.
