Andrea Nocentini has an education in forestry, agriculture, and natural resource management. During his PhD at University of Bologna, he researched for four years carbon fluxes due to land use change to perennial bioenergy crops. After, he worked at FIU and with the National Park Service, carrying out scientific research in Everglades freshwater wetlands, where he researched the biogeochemical and vegetation community dynamics as driven by the interaction of hydrologic and fire management. In the last two years, Andrea has monitored and analyzed water quality conditions in wetlands, lakes, ponds, ditches, and canals of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s reservations.
