Our mission is to meet human needs without discrimination by offering programs that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. At the Youth Center, we provide a safe and supportive environment where children can develop new skills, build confidence, and explore creativity. What We Need: FGCU students to lead a one-hour prep time and one-hour after-school cooking class (3:00–5:00 PM) for elementary and middle school students. Volunteers will guide youth through simple, beginner-friendly recipes, promote healthy eating habits, and create a fun, hands-on learning experience. No professional cooking experience is required—just a passion for teaching and working with kids. What We Need: FGCU students to volunteer as after-school tutors, helping elementary and middle school students with homework, reading, math, and study skills.
