Event: Bloomingful Community Garden Maintenance Day

 Location: Gulf Coast Medical Center 13681 Doctors Way, Fort Myers, FL 33912 Join us for at Bloomingful Community Garden Maintenance Day as we plant and care for the garden located in Fort Myers, FL. Our community garden is in need of some TLC, and we’ll be planting and weeding to help it thrive. Be prepared to get your hands dirty! Please wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. We’ll provide all the necessary tools, plus snacks and water—just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Directions: Bloomingful Community Garden is located in the rear of Gulf Coast Medical Center. Once you enter the campus from Daniels Parkway, follow the red directional signs by taking a right onto Doctors Way. Continue around the right side of the building, loop around the back, and park in the designated area near the community garden—just past the emergency entrance.You’ll see signs and team members near the garden space to welcome you!We can’t wait to see you there! 🌿   Volunteers are required to serve the entire time!   To sign up for this opportunity, click HERE! Students will assist with preparation for community outreach activities in the Lee County area. Students will have one-on-one interactions with community members, low-income populations, homeless populations in some aspects, and young adults. Students will assist in preparing promotional items such as condoms, pamphlets, and swag items for outreach activities.
