Capture moments for Fore The Future Junior Golf Challenge, an event for students (1st grade - 12th grade) of all skill levels to enjoy a day of fun, mentorship, and prizes while supporting LARC’s programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Hosted by LARC, this first-of-its-kind event funds lifechanging services for over 300 Southwest Florida residents each year. The Salvation Army of Collier County Youth Center is looking for FGCU students to volunteer as pottery/ceramics instructors for our after-school program. Our mission is to meet human needs without discrimination by offering programs that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. At the Youth Center, we provide a safe and supportive space where children can explore creativity, build new skills, and grow in confidence. Mondays on these specific days: August 25th, September 15th, October 6th, October 27th, November 17th from 3pm-5pm What We Need:FGCU students to lead a one-hour prep time and one-hour after-school pottery or ceramics session (3:00–5:00 PM) for elementary and middle school students. Volunteers will guide students through simple, beginner-friendly clay projects, foster creativity, and encourage hands-on learning in a fun, positive environment. No professional teaching experience is required—just a passion for working with youth and an interest in ceramics. Premier Mobile Health Services' nonprofit mission is to provide access to the highest quality healthcare services to the medically vulnerable and those who are most at risk of developing and experiencing long-term illnesses and hospitalization. Premier Mobile is dedicated to prevention through outreach and education, as well as opening access to the health services everyone deserves.   We will need students to help us create a "Roaring 20s" style Casino for our fundraiser. They will help us with set-up, decorating, greeting guests, Silent Auction, Donor spotting and tear- down.   Volunteers are needed from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The actual hours will depend on the tasks they are assigned:- Set-up from 1pm to 5pm- Greet guests, promote silent auction, sell raffle tickets, auction spotters from 5 pm to 9 pm- Event breakdown 9 pm to 10 pm.   Students can dress in 1920s costume if they like.
