- DescriptionThe SWFL Coalition Against Human Trafficking is looking for a communications volunteer who will be trained to manage our website and social media. We are looking for a student with a good work ethic who is responsible as well as tech-savvy. This is an ongoing need so hours are flexible according to the student's schedule. - Aug 26 – Dec 31*Ongoing* Suncoast Blood Centers Need Blood Drive VolunteersSuncoast Blood Centers will visit the FGCU campus for blood drives during the school year. We are looking for volunteers to share flyers & information on upcoming blood drives and encourage student & staff participation. The first blood drive will be on August 26, 2025. The bloodmobile will be on-site from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, during which time students can also assist. Future drives will occur on weekdays. The next drive will be on October 29, 2025. Our community garden is in need of some TLC, and we’ll be planting and weeding to help it thrive. Be prepared to get your hands dirty! Please wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. We’ll provide all the necessary tools, plus snacks and water—just bring your energy and enthusiasm!
