Help Protect Sanibel’s Newest Nature Preserve
Join the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) at the brand-new Puschel Preserve on Sanibel Island for a rewarding day of environmental service!
This community preserve, opened in spring, offers gardens, benches, a water fountain, and even a bike repair station. It’s a space for people and wildlife alike—but it needs your help! Help us remove invasive ragweed and give our native species the space they need to thrive!

π Departure: 8:15 AM
π Return: 1:45 PMπ Lunch is provided!
π οΈ Volunteer Task:
Removing invasive ragweed to give native plants room to thrive.
Don’t worry—it’s simple! We’ll pull the weeds by the roots. SCCF staff will provide gloves and all tools.
π What to Wear & Bring:
