Make-A-Wish Southern Florida is excited to invite FGCU students to support our annual Walk for Wishes event, happening on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Southwest Florida! This inspiring event raises critical funds to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses right here in our community. We are looking for dedicated student volunteers to assist before and during the event. Opportunities include: • Pre-event support: Help us secure in-kind donations and vendor partnerships by reaching out to local businesses and community partners. • Day-of event support: Assist with registration, set-up/tear-down, cheering on walkers, staffing water stations, and directing participants during the walk. Whether you’re looking to earn service hours, gain event planning experience, or support a powerful cause, this is a meaningful way to make a difference. A wish gives kids the strength to fight, the courage to dream, and the hope to keep going.
