Everglades Restoration course speaker Timothy Breen, Supervisory Biologist U.S. FIsh and WIldlife Service

    Mr. Breen currently serves as a Supervisory Fish and Wildlife Biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in their Everglades Restoration Program based out of Vero Beach, Florida.  He and his staff are responsible for producing and reviewing documents related to south Florida water resource projects, primarily in accordance with the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, Endangered Species Act, and other policies and procedures under the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) and related issues affecting fish and wildlife.  Mr. Breen has been working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 18 years, of which seven years were spent at field offices in New Mexico and Texas.  Mr. Breen worked as a wildlife biologist for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for 10 years before leaving the state of Florida to begin his federal career as an ecologist for the National Park Service in Missouri.  He has a master’s degree in biology from Georgia Southern University and a bachelor’s degree in biology from St. Louis University.
