The mission of Community Cooperative is to eliminate hunger and homelessness in southwest Florida while simultaneously inspiring and supporting sustained positive change in its clients by delivering innovative food, education and social service programs.

Clients can choose groceries from an array of fresh, frozen and dried goods. Volunteers help set up tables & tents, distribute groceries to clients & explaining how much of each product we have available, and may help clients pack their vehicles. Our mobile hot food program allows us to nourish our neighbors as they shop by providing a full balanced, hot meal.

Mobile Food Pantries are on a consistent monthly schedule( such as third wednesday of the month.) Please see website for dates, volunteers are expected to arrive a half hour-hour before mobiles start.

How to Sign Up:

The first step to joining our volunteer team is to create an account in our system. You can do that by clicking on the following link: https://communitycooperative.com/give-help/volunteer/ After scrolling down you will press “CLICK HERE” to get started! Once you have reached the site In the upper right corner, click on “Create An Account” to get started!

After your application is received, we will conduct a background check. This process should only take 24-48 hours. Once complete, you will receive a notice that you are welcome to explore our calendar and sign up for open volunteer positions.
