Jenna May serves as a biologist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District. She has worked with the Corps since 2016 in various roles involving ecosystem restoration, flood-risk management, and navigation. In her current role, she serves as the Corps team lead for REstoration COordination and VERification (RECOVER), the system-wide science and technical team for the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan. She holds a master’s degree in environmental science from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor’s degree in wildlife ecology and conservation from the University of Florida. She is from Naples, Florida and has spent 15 years working throughout the Greater Everglades system.
