Thank you for your interest! We are seeking FGCU students to assist with our upcoming event, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Southwest Florida, scheduled for October 26, 2025. Students can support by volunteering on event day (set-up, registration, water stations, cheering participants) or helping in the weeks leading up to the event with outreach, logistics, and awareness efforts. This event is hosted by the American Cancer Society, a nationwide, community-based health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Funds raised support groundbreaking research, free patient programs, and access to lifesaving screenings and care. We would love to partner with FGCU students who are passionate about community service and making a meaningful impact. Students are welcome to attend when they can—there are no required shifts, and they do not need to stay for the entire event. At Naples Pathways Coalition, we tirelessly advocate for bicyclists and pedestrians, educate all road users through engaging programs and events, and actively drive change while empowering community advocacy for safer, more bikeable, and walkable neighborhoods. This is a bike ride/walk fundraiser. We need help with set up and tear down, registration/check-in, serving food, managing rest stops, and other miscellaneous duties   To sign up for this opportunity click HERE! The AG Forum is an annual event that showcases different careers in AG “beyond the plow”. Through visitation with different SWFL Agribusinesses, regional high school AG students will learn various career opportunities available in the Agriculture industry as well as what skills and education they might need to get there. Last year, this event brought in over 500 students from five nearby counties. We need student volunteers to guide groups of students, assist with set up and breakdown, assist with lunch distribution and other various tasks! You will be provided a t-shirt to wear at the event as well as lunch - and service learning hours!
