Cooking Club and eSports Club are coming together for a cozy, come as you are dinner filled with comfort food classics and a few rounds of your favorite games. While bringing food is optional, you don't need to bring anything but yourself and maybe your lucky controller.
Expect chill music, good vibes, and tables where everyone feels like part of the group. Whether you’re in it for the food, the games, or just to hang out, this is your night to relax and connect.

This project integrates 360 virtual reality (VR) technology into scientific diving research at Florida Gulf Coast University. Using an Insta360 X4 mounted to SCUBA equipment, underwater footage from Florida dive sides was created and formatted for Meta Quest 3S headsets. The resulting VR experiences simulate sampling protocols and dive site configurations, enhancing diver training and enabling broader access to underwater research environments.

- Nov 4–20*Ongoing* Volunteers Needed for Skyline Elementary Choir AssistanceSkyline Elementary PTO is seeking FGCU students to assist our music teacher with choir rehearsals and performances, supporting our mission to enrich student learning and strengthen the school community through volunteer engagement. Rehearsal Dates and Times: Tuesday, November 4 – 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM Thursday, November 6 – 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM Thursday, November 13 – 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM Monday, November 17 – 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM Performance Dates and Times: Wednesday, November 19 – 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Grades K–2) Thursday, November 20 – 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Grades 3–5) Thursday, November 20 – 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Family & Friends Evening Performance; help needed throughout the afternoon) Students are encouraged to serve for the entire rehearsal or performance session to provide consistency and support for the choir; however, if a volunteer’s schedule only allows for a portion of the time, we are happy to coordinate partial shifts as needed. This is a hands-on, high-impact volunteer opportunity where students will gain direct experience working with young learners in a music classroom setting. Volunteers will have the chance to develop classroom management, leadership, and teamwork skills while supporting a large choir, helping the music teacher, and contributing to meaningful school events. This experience is ideal for students pursuing careers in education, music, or child development and provides flexible, scheduled opportunities to serve. We need help with testing string lights, organizing bins, getting each section of the trail ready, and stringing holiday lights. This opportunity starts on 10/28/25 at 10:00 AM and ends 12/03/25 at 4:00 PM (occurs every Tuesday - Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Shifts are available. You can sign up for 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
