Breakthrough T1D is looking for FGCU students who may be interested in assisting them with their Naples Gala on January 23rd, 2026. They will need help with sign in/ registration, set up for the various events at the gala, and tear down of the event. Breakthrough T1D focuses on accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications. Any students under the age of 18 needs to have an adult present with them when volunteering. Date & Time: Friday, January 23rd, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.  Students are asked to serve the entirety of the event.  If you're interested in this opportunity and would like to sign up, please contact Makayla Nalenzy at mnalenzy@breakthrought1d.org.   Students who complete this event gain skills in Teamwork/Collaboration, Leadership, and Professionalism/Work Ethic. Concrete Exposure Day brings together FGCU, the Florida Department of Transportation, and the Florida Concrete & Products Association to highlight the latest practices in the concrete industry. Students can explore real-world applications of their degree, see demonstrations, and hear from industry experts. The event also offers valuable networking opportunities. 

The Pi Mu chapter of Chi Omega will be meeting to go over chapter operations and events.
