Cooking Club and eSports Club are coming together for a cozy, come as you are dinner filled with comfort food classics and a few rounds of your favorite games. While bringing food is optional, you don't need to bring anything but yourself and maybe your lucky controller. Expect chill music, good vibes, and tables where everyone feels like part of the group. Viewing Party: IMMERSIA-VR Underwater 360 Immersive VR Experiences
Learn more about IMMERSIA-VR and experience a virtual reality dive. This project integrates 360 virtual reality (VR) technology into scientific diving research at Florida Gulf Coast University. Using an Insta360 X4 mounted to SCUBA equipment, underwater footage from Florida dive sides was created and formatted for Meta Quest 3S headsets. The resulting VR experiences simulate sampling protocols and dive site configurations, enhancing diver training and enabling broader access to underwater research environments.
