Barefoot Beach Cleanup
FGCU Sailing Club members joined the Swim and Fishing Club in cleaning up Barefoot Beach!
On Saturday, Janurary 25th, members of the FGCU Sailing Club joined the Swim and Fishing Club in cleaning up Barefoot Beach. Together, we walked up and down the shore picking up trash, plastic, and metal. All in all, we filled our trash bags with harmful debris and threw it all away where it belonged. In total, we volunteered for 12 hours, having 4 members clean up our local beach for 3 hours. We are glad we could help our community and wildlife and plan on doing more beach cleanups in the future!
