(All games will be doubles only). Please arrive between 3 and 3:30 to secure your place to participate in the player bracket. If we have 6 or more teams, we will start the tournament at 3:30 or as soon as we have 6 teams. Scoring: normal scoring, games to 11, win by 2, switch sides at 6, best of 3, minimum team requirement to run the event: 6 teams. If there are not 6 teams by 3:00, the tournament will be delayed until we reach the minimum 6 team amount. Any money entered in prior to the event running will be refunded if the tournament does not run. All double categories will be combined (women's, men's, mixed). Payment: Can be initiated via payment app (PayPal, Cash App, etc.) prior to the event. Payment must be made before the last game of the bracket ends. You don't need to sign up with a partner to participate, but if we are unable to find you one, any money will be refunded. Each year, we host several GEMS events (Growing in Engineering, Math, and Science) for middle school students. The students attend two hands-on workshops led by STEM faculty during this half-day program. We are in need of FGCU student volunteers to assist the faculty member or external STEM professional in their activity. In each room, there are multiple FGCU student volunteers with a ratio of about 1 FGCU student to 2-3 middle school students. This ensures that the children will be able to progress through the lab activities while also providing them with another positive role model in STEM. PLEASE RSVP TO VOLUNTEER BY November 8th, 2025! Volunteers are expected to: *Attend November 14th, 2025 from 4:00pm - 5:30pm for orientation. *Arrive at 7:45am on November 15th, 2025 to help with set up. Activities end at 12:30pm.
