How did you sleep last night? According to the Sleep Foundation, over half of college students receive fewer than seven hours of sleep during a typical semester (Ryan, 2022). To help students get better sleep, Dream On will guide students through the importance of sleep, the Sleep Cycle, and provide insight on how to identify sleep inhibitors. This program will also encourage students to use what they learn to create their own unique bedtime routine!  *This is a 45-60-minute presentation. Free dinner for students who RSVP. Those with dietary restrictions must RSVP at least 48 hours in advance to be accommodated*

This is a slightly deeper and more advanced Bible study meant to equip us for ministry. Our belief at Thrive is every person is called by God and has a ministry that will impact other people deeply. Many people get somewhere in life, but few do it on purpose or with a sense of God's guidance. This is our annual toy drive. We are collecting toys for the children at Bonita Springs Elementary School. I was not sure where to put the information, but we do plan on passing out flyers to tell students and employees about how they can participate.

Hitch a ride on our famous yellow golf cart! If you are on main campus, we will pick you up and give you a ride to your destination within the main perimeter of campus. On your way to class or back to your room, we will ask you trivia questions related to health and wellness!  The first 20 passengers will receive $5 Eagle Dollars on their Eagle Account within 1-3 business days, which can be used for student printers, laundry facilities, vending machines, dining locations. Passengers must sign a form in order to receive the $5 in their Eagle Account.

The Brothers of Pi Kappa Phi will be riding a stationary bike on library lawn all day while guests can donate to ice, pie, etc whoever is on the bike.

These banners, filled with words of appreciation from the entire FGCU community, will be proudly displayed on A-frames at the Annual Veterans Day Luncheon on November 13, honoring those who have served with courage and dedication. Let’s remind our veterans that their sacrifice is seen and appreciated!

The Roots of Compassion & Kindness (ROCK) Center will be hosting tabling events on the Library Lawn throughout October and into early November, leading up to World Kindness Day (November 13, 2025). Students who participate in tabling can earn service-learning hours while advocating for the Center and helping to raise awareness about our upcoming events and opportunities.  

Explore career opportunities in environmental and natural resources fields!This expo connects students with employers from nonprofit, government, and private sectors offering career positions and paid internships in environmentally focused and sustainability-related career paths.

The Bombshell couples and original couples will compete in a scavenger hunt on Thursday! We will also be selling $5 Gala tickets through venmo and have the QR code for shirt sales displayed.
