Join us at Thrive Community Church for our weekly Wednesday night Bible study, Equipped to Thrive. This is a slightly deeper and more advanced Bible study meant to equip us for ministry. Our belief at Thrive is every person is called by God and has a ministry that will impact other people deeply. Many people get somewhere in life, but few do it on purpose or with a sense of God's guidance. Equipped will hopefully give you a more focused sense of purpose and direction. Through this series we are equipping each other to be fully prepared to serve, to love, to lead, to give, to do whatever mission or ministry God has for us individually and collectively.  Where: Thrive Community Church, 20041 S. The FGCU bowling Club will be meeting this Wednesday at Headpinz Ft. Myers at 7:30pm. We will be having a spooky Halloween Theme night this Wednesday involving members bringing out their costume to bowl on Wednesday.  Come out to enjoy 3 FREE games of bowling, interact with your peers, and explore the fun world that bowling offers. If you plan on joining us please remember to fill out a Waiver/Liability Forms 2025-2026 located on eagle link in order to participate.

Get into the spooky spirit with Group Fitness at the University Recreation and Wellness Center! Join us for a full day of Halloween-Themed classes. Take a class and enjoy trick-or-treating fun – participants will receive a festive goodie bag as a sweet reward! The official schedule will be released closer to the start date, but we hope to see you there! Sign-ups for classes will open 24 hours in advance and be available on the RecStore.

This is our annual toy drive. We are collecting toys for the children at Bonita Springs Elementary School. I was not sure where to put the information, but we do plan on passing out flyers to tell students and employees about how they can participate.

The Roots of Compassion & Kindness (ROCK) Center will be hosting tabling events on the Library Lawn throughout October and into early November, leading up to World Kindness Day (November 13, 2025). Students who participate in tabling can earn service-learning hours while advocating for the Center and helping to raise awareness about our upcoming events and opportunities.  

The Staff Advisory Council is organizing it's annual canned food drive to benefit the FGCU campus food pantry. Your donations of non-perishable food items and monetary donations will directly support students and colleagues facing food insecurity. As a thank you for your contribution, all participating staff will receive a treat!
