Ackley wins 100 back at ASUNs
Izzy Ackley takes home the gold in the 100 back on day three of the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference swimming and diving championship in Knoxville, Tenn. on Friday as Florida Gulf Coast University sits in second place with 510 points.
Ackley is just the third FGCU swimmer to swim under 52 seconds in the 100 back. She was far superior to her competition on the day, finishing 2.50 seconds ahead of second in prelims before coasting to a win in the finals, touching 1.43 seconds ahead of her closest competition at 52.61.
The 100 breast saw significant success for the Eagles with five qualifying for finals. Cassie Bauer and Kata Joo qualified for the A-Final. Bauer ended up claiming third place.
The Green and Blue continue with the final day of the ASUN Championship on Saturday.
