- Aug 25 – Dec 5After-School Tutors Needed at Fran Cohen Youth CenterThe Salvation Army of Collier County’s Fran Cohen Youth Center is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where youth can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our mission is to meet human needs without discrimination and to nurture the mind, body, and spirit through quality programs and services. What We Need:FGCU students to volunteer as after-school tutors, helping elementary and middle school students with homework, reading, math, and study skills. Volunteers will provide one-on-one or small group academic support, encourage positive attitudes toward learning, and serve as role models. No prior tutoring experience is required—just a willingness to help and a passion for empowering youth.
