Through collaboration and ongoing education, Community Cooperative supports and strengthens those whose lives have been affected by hunger and homelessness, ensuring that they have access to the resources necessary to transform their lives with dignity.   In order to make the Meals on Wheels program run smoothly, they are in need of volunteers to assist with packing grocery bags for their clients. These grocery bags help provide food security to our most vulnerable neighbors—the medically homebound—in between their regular meal deliveries. The AG Forum is an annual event that showcases different careers in AG “beyond the plow”. Through visitation with different SWFL Agribusinesses, regional high school AG students will learn various career opportunities available in the Agriculture industry as well as what skills and education they might need to get there. Last year, this event brought in over 500 students from five nearby counties. We need student volunteers to guide groups of students, assist with set up and breakdown, assist with lunch distribution and other various tasks!
