Beautiful, functional clay works from our talented Ceramics Studio alumni are featured at this annual event, along with contributions from current faculty, students and community participants. Enjoy free coffee with the artists at 10:00 a.m.!

- Dec 510:00 AMSENIOR PROJECTS, FALL 2025 EXHIBITIONAt the end of their studies, art majors are required to develop and present a coherent body of self-generated work. This exhibition combines their knowledge of techniques and concepts while drawing on research of historical and contemporary artists. Each senior art major in the exhibition designs and creates a unique installation that combines their technical skills and conceptual vision. Sponsored by the Layden Family Foundation, the Smith Family Foundation of Estero, WGCU Public Media and the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Wasmer Art Gallery is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The gallery is closed during university holidays and breaks and during the summer. - Dec 54:30 PMALL IS BRIGHT FGCU CHAMBER STRINGSJoin us for "All Is Bright," a captivating concert featuring the FGCU Chamber Strings, in collaboration with the Sanibel Luminary Festival. This event will be held at the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ, located at 2050 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. The concert will be conducted by our esteemed faculty member, Dr. Kyle Szabo. This performance promises to be a delightful experience for all attendees, showcasing the talent and artistry of our chamber strings ensemble. The concert is complimentary and open to the public. Jones, excited for Secret Santa, got May's name and planned a "special" gift. Holiday cheer, however, made her rethink her plan. She chose a thoughtful present, surprising herself and May. Junie B. learned kindness could be funny and unexpected. Even May seemed a little less tattletale-y. This charming play reminds us why Junie B. Jones is a beloved character for children of all ages A hilarious and endearing tale based on the best-selling book series by Barbara Park. Sponsored in part by Kindness Takes Center Stage, a faculty-led initiative supported by a Kindfulness Grant through the Roots of Compassion & Kindness (ROCK) Center, using the power of theatre to promote kindness, compassion, and creativity among young audiences at FGCU and in the broader community.
