FGCU Real Independence Successful Employment

FGCU R.I.S.E. (Real Independence, Successful Employment) is a comprehensive college program housed in the College of Education at Florida Gulf Coast University, designed for students with intellectual disabilities. The program provides an inclusive academic, social, and career-focused experience that supports students in building the skills and confidence needed for independent living and meaningful employment. Through a blend of person-centered planning, peer mentorship, service-learning, and campus engagement, R.I.S.E. empowers students to pursue their goals while participating fully in university life.
