Weeks of Welcome (WOW) is a series of events that take place during the first week of Summer B and the first couple weeks of the fall and spring semesters. Weeks of Welcome events are designed to help engage students with the university community, meet new people, and welcome new students as well as returning students back to campus for a new year!
As a result of participating in the Weeks of Welcome events and activities, students will have the opportunity to:
- Foster a sense of community through relationship building and individual connections
- Gain an appreciation for individual, social, cultural, and intellectual diversity
- Connect with faculty, staff, and campus resources that promote academic success and healthy lifestyle choices
- Utilize self-exploration and leadership development to enhance their FGCU experience
