Cancer Awareness Club at FGCU

The mission of the Cancer Awareness Club at FGCU is to provide FGCU students with real-world experience through education and advocacy of cancer research and support. Students will refine their understanding of communal backing and learn how to forge community partner relations. The implications of this program foster deeper learning, metacognition, civic mindedness, and reflection- the pillars of our pedagogical methodologies. All endeavors of the FGCU Cancer Awareness Club strive towards one critical goal... advocating and bettering the lives of families and those affected.
