The objective of The National Society of Black Engineers shall be to stimulate and develop student interest in engineering; to strive to increase the number of students studying engineering at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; to endeavor in the advancement of the ethnic minority engineer in professional industry, and to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers, who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
