Challenge yourself with one of our group fitness classes, or through a personal training session. Take a lap in the Aquatics Center pools or relax in the resort-style SoVi Pool. Compete in intramural sport leagues or join a sport club to get more involved. Students can even take out a sailboat or paddleboard on the lake - or take a ride on the Heyday wakeboat for free! URecWell also promotes holistic wellness through peer wellness coaching, therapy dogs, victim advocacy, and education on alcohol, cannabis, mental health, and sexual health.

Confidential Victim Advocate
The FGCU Victim Advocate provides free and confidential support to any student who has been victimized. The Advocate is trained to support victims of any incident or crime and offers emotional support, victims’ rights information, help in finding resources, and assistance in navigating and completing any processes related to the incident. Services offered include:
- Emotional support, academic support, resources both on and off-campus
- Assistance with completing and processing forms, such as victim impact statements
- Information on criminal justice process, legal rights, and protections
- Assistance in navigating medical appointments for forensic exams
- Accompanies victims to hearings, court, or law enforcement interviews
- University Title IX information and support

Thu, Nov 6Veteran's Day Murph WorkoutThis event is to honor veterans in the FGCU community. The Murph is a workout to honor Lt. Michael Murphy, who gave his life in the Afghanistan war for his comrades. The workout includes a 1-mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, and 300 squats, followed by another 1-mile run. Additionally, there is a half version and regressions available for any ability level interested in participating. It is not how we do the workout but why we do it. Walk ups are welcome or you can reserve your spot on the Rec Store starting on 10/30.
Thu, Nov 6Tick Tock, Manage Your Clock @ Things are FALLING Into PlaceIn college, you have the chance to be involved on campus, have a job, and take some neat classes. How do you balance it all? How do you know what to do first on your long list of things to do? At this table, students will come away with one concrete adjustment to help prioritize their time better. Students will also have the chance to learn some strategies to manage procrastination.

Fri, Nov 7Responsible Host TrainingResponsible Host Training is a workshop aimed at helping students understand their role in the effort to prevent intoxication and alcohol misuse on the FGCU campus. Students will learn about safe alcohol consumption, policies and liability, bystander intervention, and the role of sober monitors. Organizations are required to complete this training in order to host social events with alcohol. YOU MUST RSVP FOR THIS EVENT. NO ENTRY WITHOUT AN RSVP. CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that our attendance numbers are important. If we do not have a minimum of 5 students in attendance, the training will be canceled. You cannot cancel or change your RSVP within 24 hours of the training. In the result that you change your RSVP last minute or do not show up, you will have to wait 30 days before you can sign up for another training.

On your way to class or back to your room, we will ask you trivia questions related to health and wellness! The first 20 passengers will receive $5 Eagle Dollars on their Eagle Account within 1-3 business days, which can be used for student printers, laundry facilities, vending machines, dining locations. Passengers must sign a form in order to receive the $5 in their Eagle Account.

Thu, Nov 13De-Stress for Your Tests @ Renewal RetreatManaging your stress is a difficult challenge in college, and it is even harder to do during exam time. Each student is different and may utilize different activities to help them relax. Coloring is a method of mindfulness and can be used as a relaxation tool during those times. Students will have a chance to color to take a mental break from their tests and assignments as well as participate in other mindful practices that they can take home and use.
