PDQ Car Wash
SCUBA Club hosted a fundraising event to raise money for future diving ventures. It was a beautiful day and let our club become more integrated with the community.
On Febuary 27th, 2021 the SCUBA Club did a car wash at PDQ. This was a free car wash and only asked for donations. Four FGCU students came to help wash cars. We were there from 12 to 4 pm. We were able to work out a deal with PDQ, and if a cutomer went in that was receiving a car wash would get 20% off their meal. Some people that got a car wash were actually divers themselves and we got to hear about their past expeditions and got some suggestions for where a good spot for our club to go. Our club was able to bond more and have some fun while doing a service to others.
