CSSEC, SWE, and NSBE Prepare Students for Career Success

CSSEC, in collaboration with SWE and NSBE, hosted a Resume & LinkedIn Workshop featuring personalized reviews and professional headshots to help students prepare for the WCE Career Expo on September 16th!

On Wednesday, September 3, the FGCU Computer Science & Software Engineering Club (CSSEC) partnered with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) to host a Resume & LinkedIn Workshop in Holmes 433.

Students received individualized feedback on their resumes and LinkedIn profiles, learning how to effectively highlight their skills, projects, and experiences. Attendees also took advantage of free professional headshots, giving them polished images to pair with their newly improved profiles. Thanks to the workshop, over fifty students will head into the upcoming WCE Career Expo feeling more prepared and confident.

This workshop was designed to get students career-ready while strengthening connections across FGCU’s engineering community. By combining resources and mentorship, CSSEC, SWE, and NSBE created a collaborative space for professional growth and preparation.
