FGCU Call of Duty Academy Stage 2, Week 1 Recap

This week started the second stage of the Collegiate Call of Duty League, both for the main team and academy team. FGCU Academy, who finished stage 1 with a 8-2 record, found themselves up against LSU and Mississippi State in their first week of action.

Their match vs LSU was a comfortable 3-0, starting their night with a 1-0 start. However, things became a lot closer in their second series vs MSST. MSST was able to take the first 2 maps of the series vs FGCU, putting FGCU's back against the wall early. However, a much needed map 3 win for FGCU would send things to a 4th map on Bocage. FGCU would have a 200-100 head on Bocage Hardpoint, but in the end fall to MSST 250-239 in a 3-1 fashion.

Next week, FGCU Academy will be faced up against the Mocs of UTC and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and look to continue to have an amazing season!
