Formative Assessment Meeting Recap and The Real Deal
Information on the formative assessment meeting and the upcoming Real Deal.
Hello Eagles!

The only thing that isn't on that last slide is information about volunteering for Eagles EXPO. It will be taking place on Saturday the 15th from 8:30-1:00. You are welcome to come represent Eagles Educate for as many or as few hours as you'd like! You willearn service learning hours for this event!
The next time Eagles Educate is meeting will be for the REAL DEAL! I will announce the date, time, and room number as soon as they are confirmed from scheduling services.
Teachers who are new to the teaching field will be coming in as guest speakers and sharing their experiences with us. We are hoping to have teachers ranging from elementary, middle and high school, along with general education teachers and special education teachers.
In the past, popular topics addressed during the "Real Deal" include:
- How to deal with parents
- How to prepare for the first few days/weeks of school
- What to expect from the interview process
- Classroom management tips and advice
Some of the teachers who will be speaking have graduated from FGCU's education program will also give valuable suggestions including what to pay attention to now and keep for later!
We have decided to create a separate event to bring in administrators as guest speakers. We are also hoping to have representatives from elementary, middle and high school. More information about this event will be announced later in the semester. Hopefully we will have the date, time, and room for this event within the next few days as well.
