Sign up now for FGCU's Project Green Challenge
During the month of October, students around the globe participate in Project Green Challenge (PGC) by learning about a daily environmental theme and creating written and visual responses. The students compete for points and prizes, with the 16 finalists winning a trip to San Francisco and the Grand Prize Winner receiving $5,000 to start their own environmental project on campus! Each day tackles a different topic, with themes ranging from justice to energy, personal health to food, fair trade to waste and more. By participating in PGC, students will understand the impact of individual change and collective action, and their benefit to both human health and our planet.
PGC provides students at the high school and college level a robust, high-impact program to champion climate action and environmental justice, educate students around sustainable living, and build an inclusive movement for positive change through daily, actionable themes that benefit people and planet.
