Serving with the FGCU Naturalists | February Nature Trail Cleanup

FGCU MCC volunteered their time on Saturday with the FGCU Naturalists to help with their Nature Trail Cleanup.

On Saturday, 2/18/23, several members of the Medieval Combat Club participated in a community service project with the FGCU Naturalists, who help maintenance the nature trails on campus and educate Colloquium classes on the ecology. We were very grateful to have six club members donate time on their Saturday morning to help with the Naturalists' February Nature Trail Cleanup. The members spent 4 hours each (24 total) from 8am to 12pm for the purpose of removing harmful and invasive plant life from the nature trails outside of SOVI. Several trashbags of the sticky duckfeet-shaped weeds later, we were happy to have cleaned up the trails!
